Autopuller Manufactured by CLAY DELAY

1. Pull Cord– this function bypasses the voice command totally. Pull Cord is the same as your existing pull head, press a arming button and the corresponding target is released. Press the smaller manual button and the double is thrown. (This routine is often chosen by instructors who need to switch between calling their own targets, and pulling for their students.)
2. Voice delay – adjustable by you. This adds a delay between your call and the target launch. The delay is preset to approximately .5 seconds from when you call for the target and when the target is released. By pressing a certain combination of the arming buttons, you can change the delay to fit your needs.
3. International delay – this adds a random delay  between your call and the target release. The standard delay ranges from 0-3 seconds, however this can be adjusted to a smaller range (i.e. 0-1 second). The range can be reduced to no delay.
4. Time delay –  Turns off the microphone and launches a target after the time that you preset.
5. Following pair – for when you want two targets from the same house. You select the house to use. At the sound of your call, a target is released. Since the machine needs time to recycle, the APD pauses for up to 2 seconds (you can make the adjustment needed), then releases your target on the report of your gun. If your first target was shot in less than the recycle time the Autopuller will hold the release and launch the second after the recycle time is completed.
6. Report Pair – for this function you select the house you want to release at the sound of your call. At the report of your gun, the opposite house releases a target. The second target may be delayed for up to 1 1/2 second to allow you time to acquire the target (you can set the delay between the sound of your gun and the second launch).
7. Random – the APD has two arming buttons on the top, one for high/left and one for low/right. The random mode scrambles the buttons. You may receive a high, low, or double at your call.
8. Rearm – this mode automatically rearms the Autopuller several seconds after your shot (you can adjust this time). Keep in mind that your unit will always be armed and waiting for a call. You may have to adjust the microphone sensitivity to minimize false targets. (This routine is designed for trap, and on a Deluxe unit for skeet will only rearm the low house.  If you wish to rearm the high house and doubles you must order this routine on a Custom or Elite Autopuller.)
9. Flurry - (Only available on the Custom or Elite and must be a phone order) Tell us how many targets you would like in your Flurry (up to 50). The Autopuller will randomly pull an equall amount of singles and doubles.

The wireless system consists of the Autopuller with transmitter installed, the receiver and all necessary supporting components.

The biggest change in this system is the receiver, which was designed to make your shoot as trouble free as possible. The front panel contains 4 lights that inform you of the status of your unit. A power on indicator, a data light indicating a signal, and high and low lights to let you know which target machine is being activated. Inside the battery compartment, there are switches that allow you to set the auto off (30 minutes, 60 minutes or never), and to adjust the machine signal. By adjusting this signal, you can control all electric machines, including foot switch operated models. Two fuses protect both the receiver and your machine, in case a mistake is made during wiring.

If you place your receiver where there is power available and would like to use that instead of the 9-volt battery, an external power option is also available (see the options page).

In some cases the layout of a field may require the receiver to be placed in a house, which diminshes the range for the receiver. If this is the case you may want to consider an external antenna, which will allow you to place the antenna inside the house and mount the antenna up to 6 feet away (See Receiver Options page). If you already have a Wireless Autopuller and would like to retro fit your receiver for this option, you will need to send your receiver back to us for a retrofit.


The receiver is available in two configurations. The standard supplied receiver has one 3 wire outlet and was designed to be connected in place of the standard skeet pull cord. If you have two separate trap machines, and want to keep them electrically isolated, we now offer a receiver that has 2 outlets. (There is no extra charge for substituting the 2-outlet receiver, just let us know when ordering on the phone, or leave a message if ordering online). Each machine has its own outlet, which keeps both machines separate.

Both the 1-outlet and 2-outlet receivers will work with a single trap machine.

If you would like the 2-outlet receiver, please note that in the appropriate space on the order form. The standard 1-outlet receiver will be shipped if no notice is given.
